The core of the stick is made of a "Space Tech" aluminium alloy 7075 (8 mm rod), which has the same tensile strength as steel but is light and flexible like aluminium. The surface of the flower stick and the flowers are made of heat-resistant silicone. It is resistant to heat but not to continuous flames. (The black silicone has the highest heat resistance). It is strong and reliable, making playing slightly more challenging but creating a wonderfully special effect by bringing the previously invisible to the stage - to be incorporated into your play style
