Devilsticks and flowersticks look very similar, but there are some differences. A flowerstick has more grip and is slowed down during play by the pieces of leather or rubber at the ends. This makes learning flower sticking easier than learning devil sticking. With devilsticks, you can perform all the tricks possible with a flowerstick, and you can also perform balancing tricks with a devilstick, which is not possible with a flowerstick.
