Yoyo Factory Dark Matter Lubricant

Dark Matter is specifically designed for yoyos. Follow these steps for maximum performance:

1. Open your yoyo
2. Remove the bearing from the yoyo and clean it with rubbing alcohol. The easiest way is to put the bearing in a very small bottle along with the alcohol for a soak, then shake the bottle with the cap on vigorously
3. Take the bearing out of the bottle and let it dry on a piece of kitchen towel. Try to spin it to ensure it's clean
4. Grab your bottle of Dark Matter and shake it well
5. Apply 3 drops of Dark Matter to the edge of the bearing
6. Slowly rotate the bearing so that the Dark Matter is absorbed into it
7. Reassemble the yoyo, preferably with a new string
8. Play with the yoyo. Initially, the yoyo will be responsive, which is normal
9. Throw some faster spins and do a few 'Around The World' tricks, which will help distribute the Dark Matter effectively
10. The yoyo should gradually become unresponsive again. If not, you may need to play with it a bit longer
11. Dark Matter only works on a clean and properly functioning bearing. It won't fix a broken bearing

Make sure the cap on your Dark Matter is tightly closed, as it tends to evaporate fairly quickly

Do not use more than 3 drops

Always make sure to clean the bearing thoroughly before reapplying Dark Matter

Be careful not to spill lubricant on other yoyo components, as this may cause the pads to potentially fall out of the yoyo
