YoYoFriends | Tankette

Introducing Tankette, the caricature of the weight distribution between the body and the rings. The stainless steel (SS) ring accounts for a whopping 75% of the total weight of the body. The shape is a classic V-shape because the immense size and weight of the SS rings provide strength and stability, even with a low total weight of only 50g. The V-shape also helps enhance the yo-yo's speed to compensate for the significant ring weight. This prototype has been tested by the boyfriend's player team and also at the World YoYo Contest 2023 in Osaka, Japan, in August. This project passes with flying colours because it plays well as it is—unique to play and striking to look at. Tankette plays super light but with surprisingly much power and stability, perfect for a fun pocket throw to take along and have fun without sacrificing too much performance

We named the Yoyo Tankette because the wide and large SS rings remind us of the wide and large tank treads. However, this yoyo is very light and agile, so calling it a Tank would not be accurate. Tankette is an armoured little combat vehicle resembling a small tank, which perfectly fits its size and appearance
